Driving lessons, EDT courses and pre-tests for Straffan learners, from our base in nearby Celbridge, Co. Kildare.
Straffan learners can take lessons in our fully insured, dual control tuition vehicle or in their own car, in manual or automatic. Pre-test lessons can also be taken in your own car.
For drivers who already hold a licence, we run night driving courses for darkness and poor light, refresher courses after time away from the wheel, and nervous driver courses with patient, encouraging tuition.
For new learners and for licensed drivers who want to build confidence.
Skill and confidence behind the wheel in darkness and poor light.
Back behind the wheel after time away? We will get you road-ready.
Patient, encouraging tuition built around anxious and new drivers.
Manual or automatic, in our dual control car or your own.
In your car or ours, with completed marking sheet feedback.
Full prices for every course are on our services and prices page.
Straffan sits between the Naas and Leixlip test centres, and we cover both, as well as Tallaght. Let us know which centre your test is booked at and we will plan your pre-test around it.

The two hour pre-test (€120) is recommended, and can be taken in your own car or ours.
Richie is an amazing driving instructor and I can't thank him enough for the fantastic lessons he gave my son who has just passed his driving test 1st time. He instills confidence with patience, knowledge and humour. My son looked forward to each and every lesson. Would highly recommend BT School of Motoring.
We also teach in Celbridge, Clane and Newcastle. See every area we cover.
